A careful, clinically grounded approach to immigration evaluations.
Elzie M. Stein, LCSW, is the Founder of S & F Mental Health Services, LLC and provides psychological evaluations for immigration cases in English and Spanish. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Oregon with extensive experience conducting assessments across complex clinical settings and has completed advanced training, Mastering Immigration Evaluations with Georgia King, LCSW.
Her background includes work with culturally diverse populations in high-acuity environments, including hospital-based settings and the Office of Refugee Resettlement. Her clinical work has included trauma, grief and loss, domestic violence, substance use, severe mental illness, and culturally responsive care.
Her approach to immigration evaluations is grounded in compassion, ethical practice, and strong written documentation. The goal is to create a thoughtful evaluation process that helps clients feel heard while producing a clear and professionally written report for legal proceedings.
